Kevin Jonas is used to going everywhere with younger brothers Nick and Joe. But now, the 22-year-old singer has two, well, cuter sidekicks: his wife of six months, Danielle, and their Morkie, Riley.

Married in December, the pair picked up Riley just weeks after their Mexican honeymoon. "We were going to wait until the middle of January to get her," Kevin tells PEOPLE. "But [Danielle] looked at me and I knew she couldn't wait."

Luckily for the couple, Riley is everything they hoped she'd be. "She's a good dog," Danielle says. "She's quiet when she has to be quiet." But not too quiet! "She likes to play a lot," adds Kevin. "She loves when people are over. She's like, 'Oh, new friends!' I think we might have to get another puppy for her."

At the moment, Riley is content with her two human playmates — in fact, she even shares their bed. "She usually sleeps with us, between our two heads," Kevin says. "But she's starting to sleep at the foot of the bed, which is a little bit easier." She also has her own "play zone" in the couple's sprawling Texas home.

But life won't be quite as lavish for Riley when she embarks on the Jonas Brothers' North American tour, which kicks off in Dallas on July 27. Whereas Kevin used to share a tour bus with his mom, dad and three brothers (youngest JoBro Frankie is 9), this time he'll likely bunk in a separate bus with Danielle and Riley. "We have our own little family now," he says. "It'll be a blast."

According to TheFrisky.com Tabloid Cheat Sheet, People magazine this week will include a feature about Kevin and Danielle.

Kevin Jonas married his wife, Danielle, five months ago and talks to People this week about the newlywed life. Kevin says, “It’s great being with your best friend all the time.” And Danielle agrees, “It’s so nice being with the one you know you’re supposed to be with.” They’ve settled in a North Texas ranch house with floor-to-ceiling windows and a gourmet kitchen. Kevin says his younger brothers make fun of him in between taping their TV show. Kevin says, “Nick and Joe were like, ‘Going on your lunch break to pick up a prescription, that’s so married of you!’” Joe says that Kevin “loves telling people he’s married. He’ll always try to work it into the conversation.” While the Jonas Brothers prepare for a 46-city tour, Kevin and Danielle get ready to move their love nest to the tour bus.

Five months into their marriage, something has already come between Kevin and Danielle Jonas. "Our dog Riley sleeps between our two heads," admits Kevin. "But she's starting to sleep at the foot of the bed, which is a little bit easier." If the oldest Jonas brother is inclined to let this sleeping dog lie, it's because he couldn't be more thrilled to call Danielle his wife. After a two year courtship during which they were often apart, he says, "It's great being with your best friend all the time." Danielle agrees: "It's so nice being with the one you know you're supposed to be with."

Since their storybook wedding at a castle on New York's Long Island last December, the newlyweds have been busy settling into their sprawling ranch-style house in a gated community in North Texas, where Kevin's parents also have a home. Kevin, 22, says he fell in love with the house's floor to ceiling glass windows that offer sweeping views of the Texas prairie, and Danielle, 23, was sold as soon as she saw the gourmet kitchen with a wraparound counter. "Dani is an amazing cook," gushes Kevin. "She makes the best waffles in the world." And Kevin? "He makes an awesome grilled cheese," Danielle chuckles. His retort: "I'm learning!"

As far as his brothers are concerned, Kevin's already aced Marriage 101. While filming the TV show JONAS recently, "I had to run pick up something from Walgreens," Kevin recalls. "Nick and Joe were like, 'Going on your lunch break to pick up a prescription, that's so married of you!'" Says Joe, 20, with a laugh: "He loves telling people he's married. He'll always try to work it into the conversation." Though his brothers tease him about being tied down, they've embraced "Dani" as their sister. "She fits into the family so well," says Joe.

Is the clan ready to expand even more? "Some day," says Kevin, as Danielle smiles. But for now, he says, "we're enjoying newly married life," whether she's organizing his closet or he's setting up the house's sound system so he can run it on his iPad. When the Jonas Brothers kick off their 46-city tour in Dallas on July 27, Kevin and Danielle will re-create their newlywed nest on their own tour bus- complete with a doggy bed for Riley. "We have our own little family now," says Kevin, adding to the delight of his wife, "We might have to get another puppy."

From Dylan: My two friends and I went to the Jonas Brothers hotel in NYC today. We got there at 6 and we waited for 4 and a half hours until they came at around 10:30 with their whole family. There were a lot of people there during....the day, but as it got later, more people left. When they finally came out, they took pictures with everyone. They were so sweet. Tia & Tamara Mowry, Aretha Franklin and Magic Johnson were also there.

Dylan also sent us a tweet saying: i have a quote you can add to that post that she said: "this is so weird! i don't usually take pictures with the fans!" she was so happy while she was saying it though :)

During the morning chat on May 13, Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas, along with the 17-year-old beauty, discuss about the trio's upcoming tour which 'will be a blast.'
Beside talking about their upcoming concerts, Kevin also revealed on how his wife Danielle Deleasa, along with their dog Riley, will join the trio on tour.

“It’s a great way to enjoy hanging out with friends,” Kevin explained when E! News caught up with the band Thursday after they shot hoops for the Xbox 360 Sweepstakes. “On tour we have a lot of downtime so that’s a really nice way to spend your afternoon.” What are these guys talking about? Videogames and softball, of course! “Danielle’s really good at racing games,” offered Kevin. Joe, however, remains unsure as to Demi’s gaming prowess. “Not yet,” he said sheepishly when we asked whether Demi’s been on his case about all the Xbox they play (though Nick admitted that youngest JoBro Frankie could kick all their butts). But so long as Demi brings her glove on tour, she should be fine, because the Jonas Brothers can’t wait to get their softball team, the Road Dogs—comprising whoever’s part of their tour who wants to play—back in action. And they already have an opponent in mind. “We just play anybody who challenges us,” Joe told us. “E! can start a team and challenge us.” “Michael Yo, we’re calling you out!” exclaimed Kevin. Added Nick: “I could think of a couple people at E! that we could call out.” Unfortunately, Joe said, E! News anchor Ryan Seacrest already informed them that “softball’s not his thing.” “But I’d like to see him try,” Kevin said. “It would be fun,” Nick agreed, before correcting himself. “Funny,” he clarified. Kevin Jonas and wife Danielle enjoyed a late-morning meal at Dukes West Hollywood, an old-school coffee shop and diner on the Sunset Strip. The couple sat at the counter and shared French toast and fruit. “They were very cozy,” an onlooker tells us, adding that they were “laughing quietly together.” Jonas picked up the tab – and modest $20 or so, the onlooker says – and left a tip that was larger than the entire breakfast cost.
